The Sweet Sixteen Party

December 3rd marked a notable milestone this year, it being the 16th birthday of my Godchild, Morgan. Being the fabulous young woman that she is, she told her parents that she didn't want a party, she wanted to go out for dinner with a few of her friends as well as her family and extended friends/family. That included us.

So off we went to Eastside Mario's for pasta-licious good times with friends that we don't see near often enough.

Oy! Hands off Daddy's brew! No touchy!!
Having a great time with my brew and my little girl!

Don & Kara, taking a break from studying for finals. I swear I could hear one of their biological clocks tick-tick-ticking...

Godparents Murray & Kim, who will themselves become parents in the next week or two!! Enjoy the peace my friends...

Mommy, Rowan, Emily and 5-month old Conner playing nice-nice. It always freaks me out a wee bit how chummy Rowan is with boys...

All in all it was a nice evening out seeing our good friends before the rush to Christmas. Naturally I was so busy chatting with everyone I didn't take near enough pictures, like, of the birthday girl with Rowan (Doh!), Jay & Cary, Josh & Kim, Shane and so on and so forth. So if you were there and you didn't get a mention, I'm sorry, I was busy guarding my precious beer from my little one.

At least she reached for my beer and not for Mommy's icky caesar.
