Back in December our friends Murray & Kim had their little girl, Ryan. Life being what it is, for busy working parents, we haven't seen much of each other since that time. So one night not too long ago Murray and I arranged a get-together, and on a recent Saturday evening they brought Ryan over for dinner and good times!

Indeed, good times were had by all. Ryan is a pretty laid back baby (who loved to hear my voice, so full points for that!) and everyone got along fantastically! It was exactly what I was hoping for in a family evening.

Even better, Rowan was very gentle and caring with Ryan, which kind of surprised us. We thought we'd be prying her off a screaming baby, but nope, all was well.

I hope to get more of these evenings in. It's good for all of us, and it was just a blast to watch our kids getting along. Makes it easier for the two Daddies to sneak away for a beer...
