Visiting Gramma Nora

Rowan and I went out to my Mum's this past weekend to visit and had a great time. We missed Daddy, but it was nice to see a couple of Grandmas and an Auntie.

See, it fits

As soon as I get this on, I'll put wood in the fire Gramma!

We went out on Saturday and spent the night. We had good visiting, tasty food and lots of cuddles with the girl. Mum even managed to get a few kisses out of Rowan!
Rowan was very excited to see Mum's dogs. Every animal, except for cats, are puppies now. She even recognizes that the sound of barking comes from puppies. I was impressed. Although she still almost throws herself out of my arms to get to them! And sometimes she thinks that birds chirping are puppies, but that's okay too.
We went for breakfast with Auntie Christine and Rowan didn't even make strange! That was nice for a change since she's been making strange with most people. We had a nice breakfast and some good visiting. She even ate some eggs which she hasn't been enjoying lately. The toy box was especially fun!

We also had a visit with Grandma Blanche, who we haven't seen in a while. It's always nice to come home though, especially since Rowan was coughing quite a bit out at Mum's. Since we moved her car seat to face forward, she doesn't sleep as well in the car either, so she needed a bit more of a nap when we got home. We think the cough was because of the fact that she's popping four teeth at once! Over-achiever! There's so much spit that sometimes she shakes her head and it's like a Saint Bernard shaking. Anyway, she's drooling so much that she's choking on her own spit. The cough has been going on for about two weeks now, so James took her to the doctor today and we find out that it's a lung infection of some kind. Here we go with a non-steroid puffer for a week. Hopefully that takes care of it. If not, we have another appointment booked for next week and if the cough is still going then we start to check for allergies and asthma. So we hope that the cough is gone in a couple of days and we're thankful that it's not pneumonia.
Toddlers are germ factories. That's really all there is to it.

And one more picture, because I'm a mean mom:

No mom! No pictures! I'm stuck! Help!
