I Made it Move! All by Myself!

I'm so good!

So a couple days ago, she started to make that connection between, "I hit it=it moves". Very exciting stuff. She has enjoyed being on the playmat just to look at the toys, but now she's figured out that she can make them move by themselves and that's pretty cool. Just wait until she makes the flower sing by herself!
Oh and the little cow rattle sitting beside her (thank you Josh and Janelle), is by far her favorite toy. She can't quite grab it by herself yet, but she absolutely loves it when we shake the rattle in front of her. She'll make grabs for it and, of course, if you put it close enough to her mouth, she'll try to lick the cow or get it in her mouth. So it begins. This new desire led to this:

She also quite likes the teething ring (also from Josh and Janelle), even though she can't hold it herself, she loves to have us hold it so she can gnaw on it a bit. It's got little bumpies to massage itchy gums and she really seems to like it. Here's hoping she'll be able to hold it herself soon.
