Don-Mas 2011

Each year my friends get together to celebrate the birthday of our good friend Don with a tasty fondue party. We call it Don-Mas.

This year some of our friends are a little farther away, so the weekend inevitably involves visits with out-of-town friends. Such is the case with Kurt, who now hangs his shingle back out Calgary way. Needing to give Bob a little space to study for a mid-term, Rowan and I headed out to Jay/Cary/Morgan's place in Vanscoy the morning of Don-mas to spend some time with our ginger friend. As you can see from the next couple photos, it was a... musical event.
When I'm done with these drumsticks you'll be a ginger paste!

Believe it or not, she was darn close to pulling off chopsticks on the first go!!
In the evening we made it to Diane's (Don's fabulous Mom) where the cheesy good times began!
