Just a little update

Is that new?

Why yes Mom, I'd love some more carrots!

On a few random things from our little world.
We're now eating 3 foods: sweet potatoes, carrots and we just tried bananas today. She's a little unsure about the texture of the bananas and I think more got spit out than went down, but she did manage to eat some (no pictures of banana squirting out of her mouth. Use your imagination).
My second EI claim went through! Huzzah! Bad news is that they cut my payments by $200, but at least there's still money coming in. That was a huge relief. Our application finally went through for the Child Tax Credit and Universal Child Care Credit, so that money will start rolling in soon too and it will help make up for the drop in EI.
This afternoon I have to try and figure out what's going on with the munchkin's health card. We're still using the one that says Watrin Girl, which is a little annoying since she's a Davie and it gets confusing at the Doc's office, but hopefully we can get that sorted out soon. Without her real health card, we can't get her birth certificate, SIN or a passport. Why do we need a SIN for a baby? Because I need it for her RESP that we started last November. Why do we need a passport? So that if a smokin' hot seat sale is on for Puerto Vallarta we can hop a plane to go visit Gramma Robin and Grampa Henry of course. Not to mention that Mom is looking forward to beautiful hot beaches, cold cheap beer and good tequila. I hate the cheap crap we get here.
I got my Stats midterm mark back: 80.5%. I'm happy with that, especially for Stats. Should have the midterm mark for Cost Accounting on Wednesday.
I've been trying for a couple of days to get a couple of adorable videos posted of Rowan playing, but I'm having video issues. James is going to give me a hand and then...I can torture you with videos! Why yes, I am that parent that will whip that sh@% out at you! What can I say? I love my girl and think she's the cutest and everyone should be able to bask in her cuteness.
