More Cereal Eating

I needed a break from studying (I hate exams!) and the munchkin is napping, so I thought I'd post this cute little video that James took of Rowan eating cereal. This was her second time eating.
She just gobbles down every last crumb of cereal we make for her and just loves it. So far we're giving her cereal twice a day. She has 1/2 a tablespoon for lunch with a nursing and then 1 tablespoon at dinner with a nursing.
Usually after the cereal and nursing she's ready for bed, so we've actually moved her bedtime a little earlier. It was working out well for a couple of months to put her to bed around 8pm, but since she's not napping as long during the day, she seems to need to go to bed earlier than she used to. It sure explains the general grouchiness that starts around 7pm.

Yesterday had us getting 4 month immunizations a couple weeks late, so she was a bit off for the rest of the day. Slept a bit, nursed a lot, fussed a bit, ate cereal, nursed and was passing out by 7:15. So we put her to bed. Why mess with a sleeping baby, I always say. Well, I do these days anyway. She woke up a couple of times before 10pm with some gas, but it passed quickly and she slept straight through until 7:15 this morning! I went to bed around 10:30, so we both got tons of sleep. Mmmm...sleep. Never thought I'd be so happy to get so much of it.
Oh and after giving James crap for not warming the cereal for her last night, I proceeded to heat it too much and burned her poor little mouth! Bad Mom! Bad Mom! She made the craziest face after it went in her mouth, then blah! spit it all out onto her bib. I felt just horrible! We'll both make sure it's not to hot anymore!
